- Improve
public review of 45-year and California Environmental Quality
Act historic research reports conducted by the City of San Diego
through public hearings subject to the Brown Act;
- Stop
illegal "holiday demolitions" of potentially historic
older neighborhood houses;
- Protect
the historical character of older commercial districts through
historic preservation policies, conservation districts, action
programs, and incentives built into new community plans;
- Encourage
adaptive re-use of pre-1960 commercial buildings and residences
in the older parts of San Diego
